The specimen sheet.
Every engraving and every instrument this site is drawn with, pulled off the pages that use them and set on numbered plates. Nothing here is a mockup of a feature — these are the actual components, rendered at specimen size, with the three laws that govern all of them printed alongside.
Every plate below obeys the same three.
Drawn in code.
Deterministic, so the ink never moves.
Every curve below is computed from a fixed seed and quantized before it reaches an SVG attribute, so the server and the browser draw the identical path. No filters, no gradients, no photography — hairline strokes and hatch fills only.
Read like a dial, not a dashboard.
Each of these carries a number that came from somewhere real — the frozen service data, not a decorative value chosen to look good in a specimen. Every one respects reduced-motion by settling instantly instead of animating.
Nine values, one hairline, one hard shadow.
The same plates, assembled into the three screens one night actually runs on, are next door.
THE DEVICES →Or see them carrying real calls.
Everything on this sheet exists because a page needed it. Request access and the same instruments start reading your own line instead of a frozen Friday. Or start at product.
