Name the people and the handoffs
Decide who owns a call that needs a person, who covers when that person is busy, and where the follow-up belongs. A clear handoff is more useful than a vague promise.
Give the team access before the first busy shift and agree on who checks the workspace.
Review what callers can hear
Confirm the published hours, last-order time, menu choices, and unavailable items. Ask the team to listen for the questions guests ask most often and make sure the restaurant has an answer.
Do not treat a draft as a finished menu. Review the version the restaurant is actually using.
Finish the operational checks
Walk through the remaining setup tasks in the workspace, including the payment path if your restaurant uses payment links. Keep the launch paused if a required step is still incomplete.
After launch, review the first calls and orders with the team and update the written handoff rules where needed.
